Custom Metal Fabrication in Brooklyn NYC

For the Models to Monuments 3 project for the Art Students League that were installed on Riverside Park South, NYC we facilitated and collaborated with Haksul Lee in the fabrication of his sculpture "Proceeding Being". The project called for the engineering of parts for a kinetic effect that reacts to the wind.

Challenges, creating a mechanical device with 180 ball bearings and with 130 moving parts that could withstand direct wind from the hudson river, coincidentally hurricane Sandys partially submerged this sculpture with direct impact from the waves with no damage taken.
