Metal Finisher Job

Serett Metalworks is seeking a full-time metal finisher for a high-end fabrication shop. Must be willing to gain knowledge of the highest standard of craftsmanship and finish quality. This position is in Brooklyn, NY and is full-time.

Job Requirements

· Fine finishing of metal parts using a variety of stationary and portable grinders, files, polishing wheels and sanding equipment.

· Familiar with common tools and equipment. Example grinders, clamping devices, measuring, and marking tools.

· Verbal and written communication

· Function as a part of an effective team

· Ability to multitask and juggle shifting job priorities.

· Work in a highly organized and clean fashion

· Keep a professional demeanor

Additional Preferred Skills/Abilities/Experience

· Paint Spraying experience

· Color Matching experience

· Knowledge of a variety of architectural coatings

· Hand drawing / drafting skills

· Ability to multitask and juggle shifting job priorities

· Work in a highly organized and clean fashion
