We were approached the by an architect doing a brownstone renovation who asked us to give him an creative blacksmith design for their backyard trelas that plants could grow on. This is what we came up with to satisfy the architect and the home owner. In a fabrication of hot rolled Cor-Ten steel allows the metal to rust to its natural patina and because of  the Cor-Ten element in the metal. the metal will not deteriorate any further. Allowing this trelas to exist without any protective finishes for at least 100 years. 

The Challenge with this project was design a light elegant frame that could withstand the weight of several people climbing on it at once.
